SCR Denitration process

SCR is the abbreviation of Selective Catalytic Reduction, which refers to the use of liquid ammonia, ammonia or urea as a reducing agent under selective temperature and catalyst, and selectively react with nitrogen oxides (NOx) in flue gas) and produce non-toxic and non-polluting nitrogen and water.

The principle of SCR reaction is to inject ammonia into the flue gas with a temperature of about 280 °C in the SCR reactor and reduce NOx to N2 and H2O under the action of the catalyst, as shown below.
